We’re pleased to announce that the 2025 Florence E. Wright Memorial Award has again been won by two students, both achieving thew same mark for their dissertations. YAYAS chairman, John Shaw, was pleased to award the prize to Alisha Oliver and Corey Young. The Florence E. Wright Memorial Award was introduced in honour of Florence Wright, a teacher in the Castle Museum, and a long-standing Yorkshire Architectural and York Archaeological Society (YAYAS) member.
